This should be a no brainer but the orginal mount I was replacing had FISH ON on the plate...not Tempress or anything esle on the product...so it was like a research project finding out whether or not this was indeed the replacement..so yes it is a carbon copy of the FISH ON plate. This is an additional mounting plate for the Tempress Quick Disconnect, which will allow the same seat to easily be used in more than one location on the boat or in another boat
